Frequently Asked Questions

We understand that our services are required to be flexible so there is no minimum term and no contracts to sign. During your free registration, you will be asked to sign a service agreement which simply outlines our terms of service.
Yes we are insured with Pet Business Insurance which includes Public Liability cover. A copy of our insurance certificate can be seen if required.
We politely request that we are given at least 24 hours notice of cancellation from the owner. There is no charge if a booking is cancelled within this timeframe. If the notice is on the day of booking (except in an emergency) the owner will be charged 50% of the usual booking fee.
We would offer home visits or solo walks where your dog would have one-on-one attention. Once we get to know your dog we can re-evaluate their walking routine and progressively introduce them onto a small, suitable group walk if appropriate.
We are fortunate to lease three private fields which we use in rotation based in Long Ashton. We mainly exercise the dogs in the fields but sometimes we vary their walks at the Northern Slopes, Hengrove Nature Reserve and Ashton Court.
Yes! Just give us as much notice as possible and we will endeavor to book your dog in.
The main vehicle we use is a Nissan Cube. It has a spacious boot with a guard for the larger breeds. The back seat has harnesses and seat belts for the small to medium breeds. The seats and boot are fitted with vet bedding which help keeps the dogs warm and dry. In the summer months we have air conditioning to help keep the dogs cool. All cars used by our team have dog safety guards and dog seat belts to keep driver and dogs safe.
We will ask you for up to date vet details at your initial registration. In an emergency situation we would endeavor to take your dog to their registered veterinary surgery and of course we would contact you immediately. Both our regular Dog Walkers have attended Basic Pet First Aid training and we carry a first aid kit on us during the walks.
We invoice our clients at the end of the month via email (if appropriate) and we ask for payment to be made within 7 days. Payment is usually made by Bank transfer.
Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate ad hoc bookings. Our policy is to have a minimum regular booking of two days a week, however we can be flexible with this and understand that sometimes the weeks may vary.
